
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman track and field athlete Jacquelyn Crow has been named the General Shale Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for competition held Feb. 7-13, the league office announced Wednesday.
Crow, a native of Lebanon, Ohio, placed third in the mile at the Samford Invitational with a time of 5:04.09 on Friday. Crow, who also competed on the Paladin 4x400-meter relay with Riley Burr, Kristlin Gear and Emma Kuntz, set a Furman record with a time of 3:54.56 in the event.
A senior psychology major, Crow holds a 3.95 grade point average.
Crow and the Paladins compete next in the UCS Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Friday.
