MACON, Ga. – Mercer Men's Soccer dropped its first home contest of the season, falling to the Stetson Hatters by the final score of 2-1.

Mercer outshot Stetson by the final of 14-12. However, the Hatters claimed the shots on goal advantage, 5-2.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Conner Antley was the man of the match for the Bears in today's contest. The redshirt senior netted his first goal of the season with a header in the 51st minute, assisted by Leonel Toledo Jr.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hatters struck first shortly before the end of the first half as Finn Busmann buried his second goal of the season in the 41st minute, assisted by Daniel O'Brien.
The Bears responded in the 51st minute as Conner Antley headed the ball into the back of the net for his first goal of the season. Antley's equalizer came off the free kick as Leonel Toledo Jr. played a perfectly placed ball inside the box for his team-leading second assist of the season.
Stetson reclaimed the lead for good in the 77th minute following Gabriel Diniz's strike from outside the box, his first goal of the 2017 campaign.

- Today's contest ended a string of five consecutive overtime games for the Bears.
