NORMAN, Okla. – ETSU, Furman, UNCG and Chattanooga were among a record 223 men’s golf teams across all three NCAA divisions, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions I and II that submitted GPAs of 3.00 or higher to earn 18Birdies All-Academic Team recognition, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced Thursday.

ETSU was among 25 Division I teams to earn President’s Special Recognition for posting a team GPA of 3.5 or better.

To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors, a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
