The Morganton, N.C. native holds a 3.81 GPA and has started seven of the Wildcats 14 games this season and has a team-high two game-winners.
Singley had a career week last week in leading Davidson to a 2-0 week with wins at The Citadel and home against College of Charleston. Sunday, the forward led an offensive explosion comeback from a 2-0 deficit with a career-high of two goals and assisting on two of Davidson's five unanswered goals to win 5-2. Singley started the comeback with a loose ball goal off a corner kick before halftime, which cut CofC's lead to 2-1. In the second half, after the Wildcats tied it up at two, teammate Stephanie Piperno dribbled down on the near sideline and set a cross to the far left side of the box, where Singley gathered the ball and drilled home the game-winner in the 62nd minute. She also added two assists on the Wildcats' final two goals of the day.
Other nominees included Appalachian State football's Tony Washington, The Citadel women's soccer's Mariana Garcia, UNCG volleyball's Kellie Orewiler, and Wofford volleyball's Rachel Woodlee.
