CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Former Chattanooga Mocs women’s golfer Christine Wolf was a part of a lot of program firsts in helping build the foundation as an inaugural team member. She has added another this week winning her first pro event.

Wolf shot 4-under par to win the Crete Ladies Open at Crete Golf Club in Hersonissos, Greece, on the island of Crete. The event is a part of the LET Access Series, the feeder system to the Ladies European Tour.

It was a rain-shortened event in which Wolf and Chrisje de Vries of the Netherlands each shot 67, 4-under. Wolf then claimed the title on the first playoff hole. It is the first professional win by a Mocs women’s golf alum.

The Crete Ladies Open is the next-to-last event for the season on the tour. The Banesto Tour Valencia closes out the schedule Nov. 8-10 in Spain.
