SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Southern Conference announced the first of two Wild Card selections for the league's football broadcast package. The Nov. 10 game between Chattanooga and Wofford will be added to the league's broadcast schedule and will be available on ESPN3. The game is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff at Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.
The Terriers are currently 6-1 on the season and 4-1 in league play. Wofford is ranked No. 7 in the FCS Sports Network Poll and is eighth in the FCS Coaches Poll. Wofford hosts The Citadel this weekend at 1:30 p.m. in a game that can be seen on ESPN3.
Chattanooga (4-3, 3-1 SoCon) has won three straight games and four of its last five outings. The Mocs host Georgia Southern Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. Chattanooga controls its own destiny in the conference race entering this weekend's matchup with the Eagles.
Wofford has won the last two matchups between the two teams, including a 28-27 victory in Chattanooga last year.
A second Wild Card matchup scheduled for November 17 will be announced at a later date.
