2015 Men's Lacrosse Championship

About the Championship

High Point’s Sean Harrison scored his first goal of the game with 1:13 remaining in the second overtime to give third-seeded High Point a victory over top-seeded Richmond, 9-8, in double overtime of the SoCon Men’s Lacrosse Championship Game at Robins Stadium, on the campus of Richmond. The Panthers advance to their first NCAA Tournament in the team’s fourth season as a program.

High Point trailed by three goals with 9:15 to play in the game but erased the deficit with three unanswered goals over the final 7:23. All-Tournament team honoree and SoCon Offensive Player of the Year Dan Lomas scored his fourth goal of the game to cut the lead to two before Matt Thistle scored with 2:32 to go to cut it to one. Cole Carns scored the decisive goal in regulation, finding the back of the net with 46 seconds remaining to tie the game and force overtime, which ultimately set up Harrison’s goal in the second extra frame.

Tickets will be sold at Ticket Booth #2, located at north end of Robins Center, just south of Robins Stadium.
Entrance to the stadium is through Gate C, southwest corner of stadium.
