-The Bucs scored a 4-1 win over UNCG to advance to Sunday's title match. ETSU will be playing in the finals for the third consecutive year.
-After dropping the doubles point, ETSU picked up wins at the top three singles positions, as well as a win at No. 6 from Wenceslao Albin to secure the victory.
-Mercer rallied from down 3-0 to top Furman, 4-3. Mercer rallied with wins the top three singles positions to tie the match. Ruben Vanoppen then held off Alex Steryous at No. 5 (7-6, 4-6, 6-2) to send the Bears to the final.
-The Bears are seeking their first tournament title as they have advanced to the tournament championship for the first time in school history. ETSU has won nine tournament crowns.
-With rain expected in the Upstate through Sunday and Monday, the rain contingency plan is to play the men's match Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mickel Center's indoor courts.
