Shah named Women's Soccer Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman midfielder Rachel Shah has been named the Southern Conference women’s soccer player of the week for all competition from Sept. 18-24 after scoring a goal and registering three assists in a pair of victories over VMI and UNCG.  

The senior from Alpharetta, Georgia, recorded two assists in a 3-0 win over VMI on Friday. Shah followed up that performance by setting up teammate Treva Aycock before burying a penalty kick to secure a 2-0 win against UNCG on Sunday.

Furman next travels to Mercer to face the Bears on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
