WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Sunday's final round of the play at the Landfall Tradition at the at the par 72, 6,166 yard Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C., has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions on the course.  Heavy rain moved through the Wilmington area last night.

Eighth-ranked Furman was due to tee off as part of an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, but tee times were initially delayed an hour before the call was made at 10 a.m. to cancel the tournament.  The Paladins (+6) concluded the tournament in a tie for 6th, while sophomore Natalie Srinivasan (-6) finished in a tie for third.

This tournament marks the end of the 2017 fall season for the Paladins.  Furman will open the 2018 spring season at the Louisville Moon Invitational in Melbourne, Fla., Feb. 19-20.
