GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro men’s soccer (1-3-0) fell 1-0 to No. 20 North Carolina (2-1-1) Monday night at UNCG Soccer Stadium. The Tar Heels’ Alex Rose scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute, pouncing on a rebound to tap in the ball from a few feet out.

-- North Carolina outshot the Spartans 13-3 along with an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.

-- Albert Pedra had two shots with one on goal.

-- Goalkeeper Ricky Zarri made three saves.

The Spartans go on the road Friday night at 7 p.m. to play Campbell.
