Regina Kirk

Women's Basketball

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, 1985-88

2011 Southern Conference Hall of Fame Inductee

Still the all-time leader in scoring and rebounding for the Chattanooga Lady Mocs, Regina Kirk was one of the greatest women's basketball players in SoCon history. She was a four-time all-conference selection, and was named MVP of the 1986 conference tournament.

A 5' 11" guard from Oak Ridge, Tenn., Kirk was the SoCon's Player of the Year in her senior year. She was a key part of the Lady Mocs' conference championships in both 1985 and 1986.

She had individual game highs of 45 points vs. Northern Alabama and 22 rebounds vs. East Tennessee State. She completed her career with 2,376 points and 1,086 rebounds. It is worth noting that Kirk did not have the benefit of the three-point shot during her career - all her field goals were two-pointers.

In 2007, Kirk was named to the SoCon Women's 25th Anniversary team for her accomplishments on the court.
