About the Championship
The 2011 Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship will be held on Sunday, April 17th through Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 on the North Course at the Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C for the third straight year. This will be the 18th Annual Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship.
The first round of the championship will tee off at 8:00 a.m. ET on Sunday, April 17th. The second and third rounds will also begin at 8:00 a.m. ET on Monday, April 18th and Tuesday, April 19th at the Moss Creek Golf Club-North Course. The conference's team champion will advance to the NCAA regional tournament. The leagues' coaches will vote in a 10-member All-Conference team at the championship.
Last year at Hilton Head, Chattanooga in just their third year of competition, clinched its first Southern Conference title. With the win, Chattanooga advanced to its second consecutive NCAA regional. Although Chattanooga won the team title, freshman Yue Xu from Appalachian State University earned the league's individual medalist award as well as all-freshman team honors. The Southern Conference had three institutions qualify for the NCAA Regionals in 2010 (Chattanooga, College of Charleston and Furman University).

Use Exit 8 to take US 278 E towards Hilton Head Island
Continue on US 278 E for about 17 miles
Turn Left on Moss Creek Dr. (Just after Tanger Outlet Center)
Follow Moss Creek Dr. for about a mile and the clubhouse will be on your right.
