WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citadel linebacker Noah Dawkins and Chattanooga defensive lineman Isaiah Mack are among the 112 individuals selected to compete in the eighth annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday. The game is set for 5 p.m. Eastern and will air on FS1.
The all-star game features a collection of the best seniors in college football, showcasing their skills at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium. The 112-man roster is split into two groups: the National Team, led by long-time NFL player and coach Mike Tice, and the American Team, led by former Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano. Dawkins is on Pagano’s American Team and Mack is competing for Tice's National Team.
Dawkins earned All-Southern Conference honors after leading the team with 13.5 tackles-for-loss and 5.5 sacks, while ranking second on the team with 66 tackles. He began the season with two interceptions against Wofford, including returning one for a touchdown on the first play of the second half.
This is the third year in a row a Moc has been invited to compete in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Corey Levin, now with the Tennessee Titans, represented UTC in 2017. Tae Davis competed in last year's game and is now with the New York Giants.
Mack finished 17th in the voting for the Buck Buchanan Award and was the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He earned seven All-American honors in 2018, after posting 8.5 sacks and 11.5 TFLs.
