MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's tennis team continued its strong showing at the Charleston Invite on Saturday at Patriots Point Athletic Complex. The Cougars picked up another 13 victories over representatives from Appalachian State and Richmond.

Charleston claimed wins in the top six flights of singles action. Junior Lukas Koncilia defeated top-seeded Tren Constance of Appalachian State in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. Mickael Boyer and Kyle Parker also earned straight-set victories over the Mountaineers in the third and fifth flights, respectively.

Mickael Trintignac recovered from a 6-4 loss in the first set to beat Peter Jacobs in thrilling fashion with 7-5, 6-1 wins in the second and third sets.

Koncilia and sophomore Tom Delme paired up in the doubles competition to defeat Fauchet/Minter from Richmond, 8-4, in the top flight to advance to the finals. Trintignac and Parker also picked up their second win of the competition in doubles with a victory over the Spiders' Hyland/Arana, 8-2 in the second flight.

The final day of competition begins at 11:30 on Sunday at Patriots Point Athletic Complex.
