CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Members of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department served as Celebrity Baggers at the St. Elmo Food City this week. United Way teamed with Food City to host the 11th annual Celebrity Bagging Event in support of their annual fundraising campaign.

Money raised was to support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to help give the gift of education. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family's income.

Local celebrities from throughout the region have volunteered their time and talents to bag groceries at the participating Food City locations. Shoppers who wish to do so can make a contribution to the United Way at the checkouts, via collection containers; or they can elect to have their contribution conveniently added to their grocery total.

Leading the way for the Mocs were women's golf head coach Colette Murray and men's tennis head coach Chuck Merzbacher. Also participating were women's golf student-athletes Monica San Juan, Miranda Rich, Esme Hamilton and Rheagan Hall.
