SPARTANBURG, S.C. - ETSU, Furman and Mercer all had representatives named to the United Soccer Coaches Association All-South Region team. ETSU goalkeeper Jonny Sutherland was named first team after starting all 18 games for the Bucs, posting a record of 9-2-7. Sutherland boasts a goals against average of 0.71 and totaled 64 saves on the season.
Furman mindfielder Laurence Wyke was named second team after scoring nine goals and four assists and was named the Southern Conference Player of the Year.
Mercer's Conner Antley and Will Bagrou were both named All-South third team. Antley, a senior defender from Sharpsburg, Georgia, scored four goals and totaled 11 points in 27. Bagrou makes his third appearance on the All-South Region squad, tallying 12 goals and 27 points on the year.
