RICHMOND, Va. – Due to the forecast of afternoon thunderstorms in the Richmond area, the start time of Saturday’s title game of the Southern Conference Men’s Lacrosse Championship has been moved up two hours. No. 1 seed and tournament host Richmond will now take on No. 3 seed Jacksonville at 12 p.m. Eastern at Robins Stadium with the league’s automatic NCAA berth on the line.

The game can still be viewed live on the SoCon Digital Network, with Jason Patterson and Phil Cox on the call.

Richmond reached its fourth consecutive SoCon title game with a 16-8 win over No. 4 seed Furman on Thursday night, while the Dolphins advanced to the championship tilt for the first time with a 12-11, overtime win over No. 2 seed High Point after trailing 10-4 early in the second half.
