HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University men's lacrosse senior Michael LeClair was named to the Senior CLASS All-America First Team, the organization announced on Thursday.
LeClair led the Panthers in points (31) and goals (18) while placing second on the team in assists (13). Meanwhile, the Elkridge, Md. product graduated with a degree in Accounting while carrying an impressive 3.4 GPA.
Similarly, the attackman was a two-time captain and a participated in several community organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Salvation Army's Stuff-A-Stocking program.
Two-time first-team All-American short-stick midfielder Isaiah Davis-Allen from Maryland has been selected as the 2017 Senior CLASS Award® winner in men's lacrosse.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
