
The Bison Keep Stampeding Through the FCS
SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- North Dakota
State retained its No.1 ranking in the FCS Coaches Poll after it beat FBS
opponent Minnesota, 27-21, to move its record to 7-0.
Also receiving first place votes
were Northern Iowa, with two first place vote and 658 votes in second, and
This week’s poll saw advancement
both up and down.
FCS Coaches Poll is based
exclusively on a voting panel of head coaches in the FCS under the cooperation
of the Collegiate Commissioners Association (CCA) and the American Football
Coaches Association (AFCA).
The poll is available on the
newly-created FCS web page that features the poll,
conference scores and standings, and features on FCS programs and players. The
Southern Conference oversees the poll and maintains the web site.
